The COVID19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on Pride organisations worldwide with hundreds of marches and events cancelled or postponed.

Pride events traditionally happen, in the UK, from June. Due to the global pandemic, prides around the world have sadly had to be cancelled.
June 27th 2020 has been declared as ‘Global Pride 2020’.
I have attended many Pride’s throughout the years and have loved the sense of love, fun and acceptance at them all. People gather today to celebrate the lgbtq+ community. It is a time for the lgbtq+ community and allies to get together, to educate and be educated as well as to be entertained.
There is a traditional pride march, raising awareness throughout the whole community and usually finishing in a large gathering, fabulous party that have stalls that deliver information as well as amazing entertainment.
Last year I published a blog post on why pride was important. I would love it if you could read the post and let me know your views. Pride Is Important #pride #meaningofpride #hullpride #pridelist #lgbtq+
