They’ve Got An Awful Lot Of Coffee In…. Lincoln ~SevenDistrictsCoffee ~PlacesToVisit ~FoodAndDrink

Hello lovelies, Hope you are keeping well and safe. If like me you are trying to keep as busy as you can at the moment, reading into the early hours or watching those theatre live streams throughout the night then you need coffee!!

I have recently discovered a coffee gem in Lincolnshire the ‘Seven Districts Coffee House’ which promises home delivered, hand roasted and ethically sourced coffee.

I can recommend looking at the Seven Districts Coffee website as it explains the different coffees it roasts which represent the different Lincolnshire district folklores . The bags of coffee all have an illustration and the folklore story on it. There are many articles and guides to read and it is definitely a must see if you are interested in that perfect cup of coffee.

Pirate Mick and I recently took a trip out to the ‘Seven Districts Coffee House’ Market Rasen Road, Lincoln, LN2 3RD.

It was very busy, arriving just after lunch time but we were greeted cheerfully straight and, after the Covid restrictions had been adhered to, shown to a table for two in front of a pumpkin decorated fireplace.

The menu is mainly homemade cakes and paninis and some delicious sounding antipasti plates which I want to try another time. There is a wide range of their own roasted coffee and if you are unsure which one to try you can have a tasting tray of three coffees to taste.

As the weather had suddenly turned very cold both Pirate Mick and I decided on a hot chocolate. He had a traditional hot chocolate and I had a gorgeous white hot chocolate.

Neither of us could resist the home made cakes, Pirate Mick chose the lemon drizzle cake and I had the vegan flap jack. The flap jack was amazing and not too sickly with my white hot chocolate and I would definitely order again. I am sure that I will have the opportunity as I am sure it wont be the last time I visit.

If I can not wait until then, then I am able to order the coffee beans to be delivered at home through the website accessed on the link above.

If you live in Lincolnshire have you tried this coffee shop? Is there another place you think I should try or you recommend? I would love to hear from you!
