“We are off to see the Wizard” needs to be changed to “We’re off to see Boots No.7” as they brought out a fabulous range for the Christmas season based on the classic ‘The Wizard Of Oz’.
Being a musical, Judy Garland and makeup addict then this was right down my yellow brick road!
I was so lucky to have a few of the pieces from the range bought for me for Christmas.
As you can see the packaging was beautiful, eye catching and very festive. I could not wait to see what the products inside were like.
The No7 eye shadow palette is beautiful. The box does not do justice on what lies inside. The palette is square and has nine squares of brown, beige and white shadows. It has a large mirror but it is the green shiny case that really is the emerald jewel in the crown. The eyeshadows have the pigment you expect of No.7 makeup.
Glinda, Munchkin, Ruby Slippers and Wizard Of Oz are the names of the lip gloss glazes in red, pink and browns. These have a good applicator and the gloss is not too sticky. Gloss, I find, never lasts a long time but these have the longevity of the usual No7 glosses.
The make up bag is in a lovely red glitter, which could also double up as a going out purse and holds the medium sized makeup brushes that have a gold handle and the soft bristles of the brushes are green.
I feel that a lot of thought has gone into the range and wished it would continue past the winter months. We could always have a bit of sparkle and glamour in our life and magic in our makeup bag.
There are, as of writing, some bargains in ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ range but I predict you will have to be quick. Here is a link to the No7 makeup at Boots, UK.
Did you manage to unleash the flying monkeys to wing you some ‘Wizard Of Oz’ make up to your door. If so do you agree with me that it will make others green with envy!
