Crafts For Christmas at Birmingham NEC ~Event ~Exhibition

This Saturday I went on a road trip to Birmingham.  It was the Christmas Craft Exhibition at the NEC.  It took just under three hours to get there.  I have never been before and could not believe how big it is.  The queue of cars to get in the car park seemed endless, however once parked and paid £10 there was a bus to take me to the venue.

Once inside the venue I paid for my ticket which was priced at £11.  So far I have paid £21 and not bought anything yet!!!  This is obviously not going to be a cheap day out!

On entry into the venue there was a brass band playing Christmas songs and a display of white deers and baubles. I love Christmas songs and instantly I feel in the Christmas spirit.

The first display.

After a long journey a coffee was first on my list and then I went straight to the stall where they were giving massages.  It was just what was needed after the long road trip and was actually a very good massage.  Even if it is in full view of everybody, you should know that I am not shy!!

Having my massage!!

There was a Christmas Showcase of items and the corresponding number to show what each stall was selling or demonstrating however  It was so packed that I just was taken along with the flow!!

There were some amazing stalls and beautiful pieces throughout the venue.  I would had bought more but the entrance fee had taken its toll and there was not a cash point and some stalls do not take card which does limit quite a few purchases.

Amazing sculpture.
I love the circus!!!

I did however buy some crackers for Christmas and some glitter and spangles.  There was something for everyone and for every budget.  I even got some sausages for Pirate Mick!!

Looking amongst the stalls there was something for everyone,  gifts, crafts, food, makeup and more!!

I purchased these nail art pens
Some of my purchases

I could not wait to try out the nail pens that I purchased from a stall.

I tried to put corsets on my nails.  Not bad for the very first attempt and at the end of a very long day.  What do you think?
