From Bondage to Liberation! Vivienne Westwood And Lee Price Exhibition ~Entertainment

Well over the summer I was in prison!! No, it is okay, before you get out your banners in protest, similar to the free the ‘Weatherfield One’ from classic Coronation Street, I was just visiting!
Again, no not an inmate but at Lincoln Castle prison they have a glorious Vivienne Westwood exhibition.
The collection is owned by Lee Price and scans the decades from the seventies to the present.
The exhibition is aptly named ‘Bondage to Liberation’.
The shoes are displayed in clear cases around the prison, in cells and in the walk ways.  There are also some clothes on display and celebrates non-conformity through the years.
I tried to take some photographs but the shoes are even more fabulous in real life!
The exhibition is included in the castle day ticket which is Adults £14.00 and Concessions £11.50
It runs from Saturday 10th August until Saturday 16th November.
There is a lift in the prison but please contact the castle for information.
There is also the opportunity to view the original ‘Magna Carta’, which is a big deal in history and apparently one of the most celebrated documents in History of England!
Which shoes are your favourite?  I obviously love the leopard print mule ones! They are just so me, darling!
