In the heart of Grimsby there is St.James Church which has been in the town for over 900 years. The area around the church has recently undergone a renovation costing over a million pounds. It is now the perfect place to meet up or catch a few sun rays away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
Facing St.James Hotel is the fisherman memorial, dated from 2005 by the sculptor Trevor Harris, which is a memorial statue to all the trawlerman who set sail from Grimsby but never came back.

The area around St James Church has had new York stone pavement stones laid with sayings and mottos engraved onto them, designed by artist Adrian Riley. There is also a small labyrinth and hopscotch for the children and young at heart so do not forget to look down! There is going to be a lighting projector beaming onto the church in the very near future.
If you are in Grimsby, Lincolnshire then this area of the town is well worth taking a few minutes out of your day to visit.

Hi excellent website! Does running a blog like this require a great deal of work?
I have virtually no understanding of computer programming but
I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyway, if you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic however I just needed to ask.
Thank you!
