Now Listen Folks I’m The Mad March Hare ~TheMarchHare ~MarketRasen ~Food

Brrr!! The weather at the moment is making me feel like I just want to hibernate it is so cold! Sadly, of course, that is not practical, so I try and make myself feel better by wrapping up warm before venturing out!!

I recently headed out with Pirate Mick  to visit The March Hare, in the small market town of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, UK.
I wore an old favourite black skull jumper and a black fluffy beaded hat.

You can find ‘The March Hare’ on the corner of Market Rasen market place.  There is parking outside in the market square but be aware that on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday there is usually a small market held in the square which limits parking.

When you enter ‘The March Hare’ there is a ramp, which can be accessed by a side door, or from the main door small steps leading up  into the light, spacious room.
You are greeted by a relaxing easy chair area with low tables and a selection of daily papers and magazines and a long  seat bench along the side of the venue with white wooden chairs. The walls are neutral and the furnishings are in shades of beige, grey, white, brown, ice blue and light green.
It is self service so once you have browsed the menu, that includes waffles, sandwiches and the most elaborate and gorgeous looking cakes, you go to the counter to order and pay.

Pirate Mick and I had bacon rolls, a mocha and a latte.  They were brought to the table with a small pot of tomato sauce.  The rolls were lovely and just the right amount of crustiness.  Not too much that I feel embarrassed that I am covered in crumbs!

It was a very relaxing afternoon and the main thing was it was lovely and warm!  I am sure we will be returning very soon when we are next in Market Rasen!

Have you eaten here or have a favourite eating place you would like to share? I would love to hear.
