Radisson Blu Hotel, Leeds City Centre ~Review

The start to the year has been fabulous. Even if I do say so myself!!  Already I have stayed in a wonderful hotel in Leeds after watching ‘La Voix’ at Leeds City Varieties.
If you are staying in Leeds for the theatre, shopping or nights out then the ‘Radisson Blu Hotel’ is central to it all.
I have reviewed a Radisson Blu Hotel before after a flight at East Midlands, so I had no qualms and in fact was looking forward to staying at the same chain of hotel again.
It was quite a rush getting from my day job to Leeds on a Friday night and luckily the car park is right next to the hotel at ‘The Light’, as this is not often the case at big city hotels.  A quick walk through the car park and shopping centre and we were checking in and in our room within fifteen minutes.
The room was very spacious and had two areas. One with a large bed, with the most comfortable mattress, and dressing table and another sitting area with a sofa, chair and table.
The bathroom this time had no windows, luckily, (read last post!!) but had a bath with a shower head, sink, dressing table mirror and toilet.
There was a large wardrobe, several drawers, a hairdryer, mini bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, slippers and robe.
Breakfast was from 7.30am and we could sit anywhere we wanted in the restaurant which is situated on the ground floor.  There was plenty of choice from cooked breakfast, meats, cheese, pastries, cereals, fruit and fresh tea, coffee and juices.  You could also order a speciality coffee from the bar.

Check out was quick and easy and a voucher for the car park meant it was good value to park in the city centre.
All in all a very enjoyable experience and one I would not hesitate to recommend or use again.
A double room, during January in the hotel, including breakfast came to under £80

Have you stayed here?  Or do you have another recommendation to stay in Leeds?
I would love to hear!
