Visual Diary after Botox treatment ~Elm Tree Aesthetics Limited

I make no secret of the fact that I have regular beauty treatments, including Botox and have often mentioned the fact in blog posts

I thought I would complete a visual diary after Botox treatment at Elm Tree Aesthetics Limited.

One of the main reasons I love the effect of Botox. It actually makes me look refreshed and does not make me look fake or trying too hard for my age. I hope it looks like I am getting my full quota of sleep or just having returned from a relaxing holiday spa. (I wish!)

Booking With Elm Tree Aesthetics Limited

As always I book in with Elm Tree Aesthetics as I trust them totally. I think I could potentially go too far with my treatments but they always make sure that I end up with a natural appearance. Always making sure I am perfectly happy with the result. There is always a consultation before the treatment and checking details, such as medical history, are up to date and what outcomes I require.

Elm Tree Aesthetics is located in WE1 King Edward Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN31 3LB

Booking was by messaging the app on the Elm Tree Aesthetics page.

I have known Samantha Kelly for a long time and know she has extensive knowledge on the subject of medical aesthetics. Sarda McNulty is an advanced aesthetics prescriber, the most gentle injector I have ever experienced. Advanced aesthetics practitioner Claire-Louise Berry injected my lips last August and they are still looking enhanced.

Day Of The Botox

There is no real care to do before Botox. I do remove my makeup but the area of the injection will also be cleansed at the clinic.

Forms will be filled in or reviewed and this is the time to ask questions.

Identifying a deep frown between my eyes, deep lines on my forehead and crows feet around the eyes are my problem areas. I also like eyebrow lift which I feel slims my face a little. I notice that when I have Botox regularly the lines do not go to as bad as they started. However keeping some movement in my face is important.

There is no down time with Botox. You are able to go back to your normal routine pretty much straight away. Avoid strenuous exercise, facials, laying down for a few hours after treatment and avoid sleeping on the front. All follow up requirements for your treatment will be explained at your appointments. Always ask questions if you are unsure.

Sign the forms, pose for the before photographs and then consent for the treatment and relax in the chair.

I often have to be told it is over as I honestly hardly feel a thing.

The three areas of Botox I have injected is priced at £200 and or the confidence it gives me it is worth every penny.

After my Botox injection I decided to visually record a timeline from the day of my injection to a week after. Can I actually see the improvement?

I took a photograph from roughly the same angle, doing a surprised face and a frown. Deciding to be totally transparent and would not wear any makeup for the photographs and no filter.

Botox Visual Diary

I certainly recommend Elm Tree Aesthetics and before you go anywhere please research making sure you are comfortable with your chosen venue, prescriber and injector.

Love to hear your views. Have you had Botox and were you pleased with the result?

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

  1. Wow, it seems like botox worked for you! I can totally see a difference! Do you feel that you can’t move your forehead and eyebrows like you used to? I know some people who notice that.

I’d consider getting botox when I’m older- I’m just shy of 20, so I don’t see much use for it at my age but I have the same thing: crows feet, smile lines, and forehead wrinkles. I’m not sure how much I’ll like them in the future! Thanks for sharing your experience.

    1. I can still move my forehead and eyebrows and this is the difference in choosing the right injector. The frozen look is okay but I could not imagine not being able to show any kind of emotion.

Thank you for taking the time to read x

I’ve never had one but my friend does because of medical reasons, uncontrollable migraines, I had no idea it helps with that! Thanks for sharing your experience!

    1. Thank you for taking the time to read. Yes, it certainly helps some people with certain headaches, such as stress, as you are not using the muscles in the same way. I am so pleased they have helped your friend x
