When It Rains Look For RainbowsūüĆą! ~Helplines ~Feelings ~Covid19

Hi darlings!

Well, what a situation we seemed to have found ourselves in! Writing this I am looking out of my study window, the sun streaming through, making the pond in the front shimmer invitingly.  The daffodils, tulips and blossom are filling the picture in front of me in colour and the birds are singing as they fly by.  The only sound I can hear is nature and it is beautiful and how I long to be out there. Sadly Covid19, the corona virus has put a stop to that.  I have to follow our government guidelines which include staying home to save lives and protect the NHS. Many countries are the same and others have stricter instructions, such as full lockdowns.

This is unprecedented times and there are many feelings that you may be feeling at the moment and do you know what, each and every one is valid because it is your feeling.  Embrace it!  It is okay to feel sad.  It might be about cancelled plans, the situation, the uncertainty, not seeing family and friends.  It is okay to feel happy.  You might be feeling relieved of some down time.  Maybe every day life was getting too much for you to handle and you needed to reactivate your batteries.  It is okay to feel angry.  People you feel who are not following advice and you are, the fact that you do not know when you are able to work again. It is okay to feel numb.  Just try to take each day as it comes and just go with the flow and if that means sitting in your pyjamas all day then who can complain!
If you are anything like me then you will experience almost all these emotions at some time during one day!¬† It is such an emotional roller coaster and I am finding the best thing I can do is to only watch the daily briefing from the UK government and the rest of the time keep busy.¬† I have signed up to Davina McCall’s free for one month exercise group¬†
I am somebody that would lounge around in my pyjamas all day if I could and so whenwas invited to join the group #dressupfriday Dress Up Friday   I accepted! On a Friday people are encouraged to dress up, in anything they like, and share to the group.
I combined #dressupfriday to wear my La Voix clothes to watch her Isolation Cabaret, streamed from Facebook Live to my TV.¬† La Voix¬† really cheers me up and I recommend you to follow her if you don’t already
I have enjoyed watching the live streaming from Chester Zoo You Tube~ Chester Zoo
In fact there are lots of live screenings on Facebook and You Tube. Even Dolly Parton is doing a reading of bedtime stories for little, and not so little ones! Dolly Parton Bedtime Story
I will look at compiling a list of different shows and people that are live screening during this time. If you have anything that you would like me to promote then please get in contact.
As I have said it is okay to be feeling  aberrant emotions  but if anybody is finding this situation too much then please reach out!
